Today (February 6th) is Wear it Red today, raising awareness of heart disease for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Coronary heart disease is still the UK’s biggest killer – we will lose 1 in 4 loved ones to heart and circulatory disease, and in the UK alone over 7 million people live with cardiovascular disease.
The BHF Wear it Red day aims to raise awareness of these conditions, and raises funds to combat it. All over Britain today people will be wearing red and holding events to raise money for this charity.
Have you or someone you know been affected by cardiovascular disease? If you would like to share your story, or if you’ve taken part in Wear it Red day, please get in touch.
