The RGU Go Green Initiative is gearing up for another busy year.

Go Green

On 5-6 March, the Group are planning a FREE trip to the Eco Village at Findhorn. There are only 10 spaces so if you’re interested, contact Go Green. The Eco Village is an environmentally conscious community that explores sustainability and cooperation tih nature. You will get a chance to immerse yourself for a day & a night in the community, taking part in various workshops and activities.

RGU Students are invited to join RGU People and Planet, a Group created for students to get together to talk about human rights and the environment, and take part in related campaigns.

Go Green are looking for volunteers for to help put on a unique event to mark Earth Hour 2016. Plans are underway for a ‘swap shop’ style event to take place in March. If you’d like to be involved, please contact Seonaidh for more information.

The long standing Veg Bag initiative, Community Garden, and Cycle Hire Scheme, will also continue to run  in 2016.
