Earlier this year, Aberdeen City Libraries launched their Healthy Reading Collection.
This collection has been compiled with help from NHS Grampian professionals and local health care organisations. Books included in the collection include self help books, biographies, and fiction, and cover a broad range of topics.
As well as the Healthy Reading collection, Aberdeen City Libraries also hold a variety of events. Below are the details of the next one:
Healthy Eating for a Healthy Heart

Held on 17 March 2016, 6-7pm
Dr Frank Thies of the Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health will join us to discuss his research on the influence of diet on cardiovascular function and risk. He will talk about what food is good for your heart, and what foods can help you reduce the risk of a heart attack.
